Hiking
Dent de Vaulion is a striking peak in the Vaud Jura Mountains, offering breathtaking panoramic views of eight lakes. The hike begins and ends at Le Pont train station, a small village on the shores of Lac de Joux. From here, the trail leads through gentle forests and meadows before gradually becoming steeper.
Shortly before the summit, a mountain inn invites you to take a well-deserved break before the final ascent. At the top, you'll be rewarded with a spectacular panorama: the view stretches from the Jura Mountains across the Alps to Lake Geneva.
After the descent, you can relax by the lake in Le Pont or enjoy regional specialties in one of the restaurants. The return journey is conveniently made from Le Pont train station.
