After a hearty snack 🥪🍎 I set off at 1:30 p.m. from the Hohenmoor starting point. 🚶‍♂️ The weather was good 🌤️, and by 4:15 p.m. I had conquered my 24th and final northern path. 🏆🌲💪 😄😄😄

Great to walk. And for once there are no pig farms nearby 😉

The highlight is the mill at the beginning, and the moorland refuge with its peat-picking trail is also not to be underestimated. Otherwise, you'll almost always see pure nature, with only a few farms along the way through forest and fields.

Early in the morning it was announced that it would also be foggy during the day. A farsighted tour was out of the question.

Showing Translation

Very harmonious route with a variety of surfaces and very good signage. The North Path doesn't have a real highlight. But that doesn't matter, you can walk it nicely as it is.

The long straights are also typical of this northern path in the undulating geest landscape near Bremervörde. The start was in Elm at S1, the Henriette windmill. Due to the construction site 🚧 in Elm, the journey from the direction of BRV is currently only possible via side roads. The Dutch gallery windmill, built in Elm in 1871 (it stood …
