Back to Grövelsjön! I thought this area is very lovely and one of the spots that i wanted to show my visiting family. When i made this walk it was still covered in snow, now it was almost entirely gone. The weather was lovely, lots of other people where also at the starting point and the våfflestuga was open. So we went to follow the path up for the Silverfallet round. Spotted not one, no, two! älgar/moose along the path. this route is rather nice, lots of views and qyite good to walk. Minues the part in the forest, where you become a walking diner for tbe mosquitos haha. Finally found the Silverfallet and its rather lovely too, photogenic! We touched the norwegian border again and went back down to be treated on a freshly backed waffle with cloudberry jam (hjortonsylt) and cream. Amazing after a good hike!
Suitable for dogs 🐶 but please keep on a leash here there are free-range reindeer!
