Once again, we went on a very nice hike with the Albverein (Albverein Association). We were a very fun group and had a fantastic view of the mountains, with the blossoms in full bloom. A very good stop at the Berg Inn (an insider tip) in Baitenhausen, followed by a refreshment stop at the Geiger Winery's Besenwirtschaft (beer tavern).
Drive to Baitenhausen, parking at the Gasthaus Grüner Berg. A quick visit to the pilgrimage church, then enjoying the magnificent view over the Salem Valley and continuing through beautiful autumnal woods towards Unterhof and Breitenbach. Onward to Riedetsweiler and Neuweiher. From there, we returned to our starting point via Daisendorf. The weather was almost entirely overcast (high fog), with only occasional sunshine and a temperature of 12°C.
Round almost exclusively on wide farm roads from WP Baitenhausen to the pilgrimage church with a great view of the Heiligenberg, over the Salemer valley and the Gehrenberg. Continue to Neuweiher and Riedetsweiler vantage point, then past vines back to the starting point.

Today's tour started at Baitenhausen and took us relaxed through the hinterland of Meersburg. The pilgrimage church, Neuweiher and Siechenweiher were along the route, and of course there were also some benches with a view of Lake Constance and the Alpine chain. At the Siechenweiher we had to turn around on the planned path because it was partially flooded and the prospect of continuing with wet shoes wasn't that tempting. Spring is already much further along the lake than at our highest point. The sloes are already blooming and there are also signs in the gardens, for example. B. the daffodils. The yellow blobs of color in the landscape are caused by forsythia.
