Hiking
This dream trail impresses with a wonderful mixture of nature, views and history. It starts in Rhens, which you can also reach by train. It is worth exploring the picturesque old town before or after your hike. You will then climb up to the famous Königsstuhl monument, where the kings of the Middle Ages once swore their oath of loyalty. Enjoy the wonderful view over the Rhine and then hike to the Lützelforst lookout point.
This dream trail takes you through an open orchard landscape to the St. Antonius Chapel before you enter the Mühlental. The next lookout point is already waiting for you with the Kriesenkopf - your gaze will wander to the Hunsrück and Taunus. To get back to Rhens, follow the tour into the forest, where the romantic "Wolfsdelle" sunken road awaits you. You pass the small Nikolaus Chapel and reach your starting point again along the Mühlbach.

The "Wolfsdelle" circular tour begins in the attractive center of Rhens am Rhein. A detour to the Königsstuhl is an absolute must. In the Middle Ages, the electors met here to elect the German king. 🤴
