Between vineyards and forest areas, you can enjoy fascinating views of the Rhine Valley on this dream trail. You start in Brey and initially hike into the forest. There you will come across old water pipes laid by the Romans. You continue on soft forest paths to a hidden burial mound and then you are welcomed by the former Jesuit monastery of Jakobsberg, which is now a hotel.
The following section through the vineyards high above the Rhine is truly dreamy. Here, impressive panoramas open up with the largest loop of the Rhine. Treat yourself to a break on one of the benches and enjoy! You then walk along field paths to the Chapel of Our Lady. On your way back to the starting point, you will pass the Marksburgblick refuge.
