Today we hiked with our dog 🐕 from Oberstdorf (Nebelhornbahn car park) to the beautiful Oytal. Beautiful tour with a great view. Ideal if you are travelling with a dog. The way back mostly leads along the water where your four-legged friend can cool off. We were on the trail for 4.5 hours including breaks.
Hoytal Halle car park €15 day ticket. The way there is almost all asphalt, but the way back is very nice on a shady gravel path along the water.
Very nice tour with great views. Absolutely doable even for inexperienced people.
Today was another sunny day. We hiked from Oberstdorf in the direction of Oytal. Turning point Berggasthof Oytalhaus. Back to Oberstdorf and past the arena ski jump. At the end we drank coffee and ate cheesecake
In order to use half of the rain-free day, we went to the Oytal. Lots of water came towards us in the Trettach and the Oy. We drove back by scooter from the Oytalhaus to Oberstdorf.
The last round with my small rehabilitation hiking group took us to the beautiful Oytal. First we walked to the bus stop 🚌 to Tiefenbach, then the tour started in Oberstdorf. At the beginning of the round we had to overcome a steep climb, after that it was a really beautiful tour on the best paths with a wonderful view. ⛰️🐄☀️We took a break at the Oytalhaus mountain inn and then walked directly along the Oybach back to Oberstdorf. I will miss this landscape ⛰️ and the varied tours!
First of all thanks to @Fietche for the suggestion and my better half for wanting to do this tour so much. Until midday it didn't look as if one could venture a step outside the door. And then curtain up for creamy weather. We would have liked to have gone a little further into the valley, but we have a table reservation that we definitely want to keep. The Oytal is accessible to everyone. If you are exhausted from the way there, you can rent a scooter for 9 euros and roll downhill in the direction of Oberstdorf.
We took a leisurely 1.5-hour climb along the water. Arriving in the Oytal Valley, we treated ourselves to a cold drink before enjoying a magnificent view on the Oytal scooters for a quarter of an hour. And now we're heading up to the Nebelhorn again on the cable car.
