Hiking
While the world-famous Niagara Falls attract millions of visitors every year, the river itself also has a lot to offer, and affords a more peaceful view of the landscape. Niagara Glen is nestled deep in the Niagara Gorge, and this Tour explores one of eight trails in the area. The 3-kilometre (2-mi) Niagara Glen Trail starts on the Trans Canada Trail, the longest hiking trail in the world.
The path leads through the beautiful Carolinian Forest, along cliffs, past impressive rock formations and lush flora and fauna. The views over the rushing river and the bubbling Niagara River Whirlpool are spectacular.
The Niagara Parks buses stop at the starting point of the hike, allowing you to combine the hike with a visit to the falls.

The start and end of the circular trail are at the Green Line bus stop "Niagara Glen". You have to go down metal stairs to the trail. At the bottom you hike in the forest and along the river. Very varied. You can combine different trails. See the map.
