This route was planned by komoot.
The Eibsee somehow sneaked in between. I visited it after the gorge.
Today the Höllentalklamm was on the list and what can I say, breathtaking... I'm lost for words👍👍😊
Höllentalklamm hike to the hut. It's all uphill... this gorge is very impressive, but it does require a lot of strength and concentration. The P2 parking lot is ridiculous 😡. It costs €14.95. Still, it's an experience I wouldn't want to miss.
Preliminary route corrections: Elevation gain/loss: 770. Tour length: 14 km. A very beautiful, worthwhile tour through the Höllentalklamm and then to the Anger Hütte. A fantastic atmosphere in the gorge...breathtaking! And just before the alpine pasture, you have a magnificent view of the Zugspitze 👍. Once you reach the top, you can reward yourself without regrets 😂. In our case, it was with a Kaiserschmarrn (sweet pancake) and a cold drink 🍻. The correction is because Komoot couldn't handle the gorge (2700 meters of elevation gain and 18.7 km 🤔) and I started my Garmin too late. Luckily, Kerstin was with me 😂
Thanks Tanja for the idea and the fun, wet, and happy gourmet day 🤗😘 Tour by @KISS 👇 https://www.komoot.de/tour/2578832099?ref=atd Start: Grainau 🅿️ 12 hours €13.- A short stretch of road before turning right onto the hiking trail for about an hour. to the entrance to the... Höllentalangerhütte Zugspitze Wetterstein Mountains Alpine Association Munich & Oberland - Alpine Association Munich & Oberland https://share.google/hlt9pnEA2lVSd2NRT It's time for lunch 😋🥘 and enjoy the sun 🌞. Back the same way... although I found the descent even more impressive than the ascent. Of course, there's a snack 🥂🥓🧀🥚🫑🍅 for dinner. Ohhhhhhh, now let's pack up and head to the car, really dark storm clouds 🌫 are moving in. Done - dry, yess💪
Very beautiful hike. From Hammersbach, the path goes up a forest path to the entrance of the gorge. The rushing of the stream accompanies the path. The Höllentalklamm is an impressive natural spectacle; the water rushes down from the mountains in small waterfalls. The path continued to the Höllentalangerhütte. Here we took a break with a great mountain panorama.
Be sure to bring rain gear for the gorge, at least a rain poncho, and waterproof shoes are essential. It's a very impressive gorge with raging waterfalls.
