Highlight • Structure

First part of the mountain pass is really steep on really small roads. No cars at all during an hour of ride.

Beautiful connection from Dallenwil to Kerns. Practically traffic-free but very steep. Asphalted throughout.

Comfortable bench with fresh water, a chime and interesting information for pilgrims on the Way of St. James.

Trail Reviews

Pädy
July 7, 2023, Rund ums Stanserhorn

This tour is best driven up from the Kernser side. On the one hand, the incline is a bit more moderate and you can enjoy the view of Lake Sarnen better when driving up. On the Nidwalden side, the road has now been remade until shortly before Wisiberg. From then on, you no longer have to worry about potholes.
