This circular route takes you to one of the most iconic sites in the Prades Mountains: the impressive pool of Toll de l'Olla, on the Brugent River. The route begins and ends in Farena, an architectural marvel located in the heart of the Prades Mountains. Don't start the route without exploring it.
The Toll de l'Olla hides a very interesting legend. It is said that, at the beginning of the 17th century, local residents fell ill and asked a "farebona" (good witch) for help. She made a pact with them: she would find the herbs needed to cure them, and they would find a pot that would hold one liter of water per sick person. When the residents failed, the farebona transformed this part of the Brugent River into the Toll de l'Olla.
Swimming is permitted. If you prefer, you can also go upriver a few meters and find more pools perfect for a dip.
