This itinerary allows you to discover the most beautiful panoramas along the south-western coast of Sardinia. Starting from Chia, the route immediately takes you uphill, immersing you in the silence of the hinterland, before then descending along the coast and hearing the sound of the waves. The ring can be followed in both directions but the anti-clockwise one allows you to enjoy the final spectacle of the sea.
We start from the car park (Viale Chia, 23), following the state road that takes you to Domus de Maria where there are breathtaking views of the coast and mountains. After about twelve kilometers you reach the highest point of the route and descend towards the town of Teulada where you can stop and taste the Teuladina focaccia.
Continue from here on level ground for a few kilometers to the coastal road. Enjoy these last kilometers along the sea with some ups and downs. We recommend visiting Su Giudeu beach for its light sand and turquoise water. After a stop at the beach, hop back on your bike to head back to your starting point.
