Located a short walk from La Thuile, this enchanting lake is the ideal place for those seeking approachability and beauty in a single setting.

The hike is quite simple: starting from the Colle San Carlo car park, follow trail no. 15 in the direction of Lago d'Arpy. At the fork, take trail no. 17 towards the Colle della Croce. This circuit is easy and has no prohibitive features. Along the way, you cross a lush forest, which offers shelter from the sun and keeps the environment cool even on the hottest days.

The Lago d’Arpy offers a splendid view of the Mont Blanc massif. Even on crowded August days, with a few extra steps along the perimeter of the lake, you can find quiet corners and enjoy the landscape in peace. This magical place is ideal for families and pets, easily accessible with an easy walk.
