Inn Zur Wuchtlwirtin

Highlight • Restaurant

The Wuchteln are terrific - both in scope and taste.
And the other dishes on the menu are huge too. It takes a bit of strategy to accommodate all of this. :-)

The best way to get there is with the Mariazeller Bahn from St. Pölten (Himmelstreppe). MAKE A RESERVATION IN THE HIGH SEASON. There are only limited spaces for bicycles.

Horrible rainy weather in Mariazell yesterday; This morning when we started cycling, impressive wafts of fog and then only the most amazing sunshine 😊.
A very nice tour, in a beautiful landscape along the Traisen. We cycled to St. Pölten and took the train home.

Today we first went by train to St. Pölten, from there by bike tramper bus to Geschaid and on the Traisentalweg back to Traismauer. ATTENTION the trailer at the bus only has 20 seats.
