Explore the Hinterrhein in the Rheinwald on this circular tour near Splügen. You can easily reach the starting point by post bus. There are also several parking spaces in the town.
To start with, you follow the Hinterrhein down to the Sufnersee. Here you can enjoy the wonderful panorama before you cross to the other side of the river and circle the lake. A steep climb takes you through the Göriwald and back to Splügen.
Always cycling along the right side of the river, you continue to Nufenen, where you cross to the other bank. You roll slightly downhill via Medels back to the starting point. Optionally, you can extend the tour to the town of Hinterrhein and only then change sides of the river.
