This tour is a highlight for all advanced mountain bikers who like to gain altitude. Shortly after leaving the start and end point in Durbach, you will be cycling on easily navigable gravel and loose ground through shady forests. Again and again, wide views of picturesque landscapes and delightful vineyards of the Central Black Forest open up. On beautiful trails, you will pass several rest areas in the middle of the greenery, where you can eat your provisions and enjoy the peace of the forest. It is also worth stopping at the Brandstetter Chapel, which looks like a postcard motif between the wide fields and vineyards. Climbs and descents alternate, and you will cover over 1,000 meters in altitude over the almost 37 kilometers.
A special highlight is Staufenberg Castle, where you can enjoy a well-deserved rest and beautiful views. Get ready for a tour that will challenge your stamina and reward you with wonderful landscapes in the beautiful Black Forest.
