Unforgettable views, beautiful wild nature, lovely valleys and sporting challenges - that's what awaits you on this round trip, which is recommended to you by a local handbike enthusiast. It starts at the "Spöde" Wallisellen sports center, where there are parking spaces on Zielackerstrasse and a single wheelchair parking space at the end of Butzenstrasse. There are also wheelchair toilets at the sports center.
From the starting point in Wallisellen, you drive to Bassersdorf. Here, the first climb up to Gerliswil awaits you with a view over Zurich-Kloten airport. Then it continues through the Eigental nature reserve down to Embrach. From here, you can enjoy a beautiful cycle path through the lovely Rumstal.
Then comes the sporting highlight of the tour: the climb from Schweikhof up to Sonnenbühl. The climb is tough, but the view is all the better for it. So take a break and let the panorama sink in.
Afterwards, a long descent with small climbs takes you via Tagelswangen and Brüttisellen back to the starting point. Here, at the end of the tour, you can treat yourself to a well-deserved stop at the wheelchair-accessible restaurant "Liga".
