Holperdorper – Teutoschleifen

Since the first recording of the tour stopped at the refreshment stop and there are 2 tracks, this tour was re-planned here in komoot based on the actual route... small route deviations are partly missing here due to a lack of clear signage. Is there actually a good directory of signposted circular hiking trails, throughout Germany, with parking information to get there? If not, can someone do it? I like tracking, but when I'm on the road I love following the signs and not constantly checking my phone or, even worse, letting the navigation system babble on. 🤣🙈

Today's round was varied, the paths sometimes quite muddy. But you can also see how nature and the forest are changing, old remains of felled trees, new plantings and... FaMOOS what the trees look like with their green shoes (moss). If you still feel like it, you can stop off at Malepartus, highly recommended. The route was well signposted 👍 LG😁

Since I'm currently on the road without Thomas, I've decided to hike the Teutoschleifen, which we've never done before. Which one should I start with? When I read that Holperdorp is known for its cherry blossoms, the decision was quickly made. If not now, when! It started in the best hiking weather. Over beautiful, varied paths, always slightly uphill and downhill, as is typical for the Teuto. Always beautiful distant views and a great cherry blossom season. An all-around very beautiful tour. I can really recommend this Teutoschleife 🥾🍀🌞

Another nice round of loops with the highlight of a stop at the "Malepartus" - as close to an alpine inn as you can get here, the food wasn't cheap, but very tasty. After the stop, I unfortunately didn't start the tracking on the Garmin, so there's another 1 km to it, yes!

Arrived today in Tecklenburg in the Teutoburgerwald. This area is an hour and a half drive from the border in East Groningen.
