The sun was shining and so I hiked spontaneously on rolled winter hiking trails in the Steibingen mountains. When I had to cross the Fluh-Hochbühl slope on the way back, I slipped on the slippery and steep slope and slid down about 100 meters on the seat of my pants to the Hochbühl mountain restaurant.
Nice route and the ascent to the Hochhädrich is possible for everyone who needs a summit. Unfortunately, dogs are currently forbidden on the Austrian side and at Alpe Hochwies, dog owners are threatened with legal action if they dare to stop there.
We were traveling with two children (3 and 5 years old). There are always stations with interesting information, activities and lots to discover. The tour can also be done with a pram. Towards the end it gets a little steeper. Partly paved mostly wide gravel roads.
Very nice and easy tour. Going well with children. Again and again there are stations with information or to participate.
The tour can be done with an all-terrain stroller. We had a bike trailer. My wife was pregnant. There are a lot of pregnant women here anyway. However, you shouldn't expect too much from the "adventure trail". It's just a few information boards. The Carl Hirnbein way is better.
After many gray, cloudy, cold and windy days, the sun was shining again today. It was the best weather for a winter hike in the Steibingen mountains. A lot of other people saw it that way too - who can blame it?

Beautiful route! When we walked it, however, there were a few short sections that weren't stroller-friendly. We ended up carrying the stroller, which was fine since the sections were only short. Otherwise, the route delivers on its promise 😃
