Aspen Lake and Gazebo

Highlight • Lake

Aspen Lake is one of two small lakes (the other being Spruce Lake just a few hundred yards to the north) in Fox Run Regional Park. This attractive lake has fish and turtles that live in its waters as well as a gazebo that juts out into its center. This is a great place to relax, take photos, and eat a snack as you watch for turtles poking their heads out of the water.

This 417-acre park offers 4 miles of trails, open fields with playgrounds, two lakes, and a gazebo where you might witness a wedding ceremony taking place. Due to receiving more snow than other parts of the Colorado Springs area, it's a great spot for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing in the winter.
