This route was planned by komoot.
Unfortunately, I once again missed recording from the beginning. We started straight from the vacation home in Montana. A very fascinating tour with a plant world that gave me pure joy the whole day. But we also had plenty of magnificent views. The weather was fantastic and the Saure Most at the end was simply wonderful. A beautiful day 🥰
The way there is suitable for families and in the first half along the bisses. The way back is mostly on interesting trails.
Hike without technical difficulty apart from the length. ! Vertiginous path! Incredible setting with postcard view. According to the official site, from Crans-Montana to the Barrage it takes 3h35 one way only. Loop completed in 7h45 including breaks, photos, meals all at a leisurely pace. "The route of the Bisse de Ro is spectacular and crosses vertiginous cliffs. All the passages are secured. For the second half of the route, (especially the returns) the vertiginous passages are secured with a handrail only! Not recommended for people suffering from vertigo .." " Visit it only in dry weather and during the beautiful season. In winter it is strongly advised not to venture there. " Can be slippery if it starts to rain or even impossible to cross certain passages. More info is available here: https://www.les-bisses-du-valais.ch/fr/Bisse/Bisse-du-Rho/#location
The hike along a Bisse usually promises little incline and beautiful valley views. The freshly restored Bisse du Ro now contains a suspension bridge instead of a dangerous curve. The lower part still works with water. Unfortunately, the bite only makes up about 1/3 of the total distance from Crans to Lac Tseunier. Like the gravel road up to the beginning of the Bisse du Ro, the reservoir is only moderately exciting. It is best to drive up close in Crans and run the bites back and forth once.
