Hiking
The Venice Trail, which is also great to walk with children, takes you to the picturesque Obersulzbachtal with its beautiful alpine pastures. You start at the Hopffeldboden car park and a real highlight awaits you right at the start of your hike: you walk on a 60 meter long suspension bridge over the rushing Obersulzbach.
You walk along it steadily uphill and pass stamp points, rest areas and playgrounds - an experience for the whole family. Between the trees you can also enjoy fantastic views of the surrounding steep mountain walls and several waterfalls.
The first stop is the small Kampriesenalm, where there is a playground. After a total of four kilometers you will reach your destination at the rustic Berndlalm, where you can fortify yourself or even spend the night. The terrace offers you a unique view of the Obersulzbachtal and the Großer Geiger. The way back follows the same route.
