This route was planned by komoot.
Carbon Trail to the second ascent as usual. It's a bit long, paved, but little traffic and suddenly you're at the top. The daily bag from Rivera to the trail just has to wait. But mornings aren't that bad. If there aren't any hindrances, you've gotten tired (again). I had a car repair hose on it, but it was no use and I couldn't fix it (shame on me🙈). So stop it nope.😄 To the track itself. Largely unchanged from last year. endless trail. Many very fun, varied passages with formidable vantage points. I like to refer to last year's description (https://www.komoot.de/tour/810544189?ref=wtd&share_token=avBlu38MFE95h4x9cqutSe0kJgtczm4EAO6K3lXVUZVUWUKElD).
A highlight. A great, varied, sometimes quite demanding trail. Recommended to start well rested. The ascent over the pass road is long; but since a lot is driven in the (cool) forest, easy to master; Once at the top, there is a pub at the entrance to the trail, which was "downgraded" to a mountain hiking trail a few years ago from the official SchweizMobil MB route. Turns quite strongly at the beginning, followed by an ascent to the first alp, before it then continues more in a flowy manner to the next alp, from where it then becomes more demanding again with a few, albeit mobile, steps and a greater gradient again. The condition of the track was good. I rode the trail in dry weather, which I would recommend. The video of the trail: https://youtu.be/KeR556T3-FQ
Very demanding trail with a lot of technical skill. You'll get wet feet from time to time as you have to carry the bike through a stream. You have to carry or push the bike for parts of the route.
After a steep ascent to the restaurant on the Alpe di Neggia, we enjoyed coffee and apricot cake. Then on the carbon trail, 8 km S1 to S3 down. Stones, granite slabs, forest floor, suspension bridges. Everything your heart desires. Great tour in pleasant conditions.

The Carbontrail is always top notch. On the Carbontrail you have everything a biker's heart desires.....very long s2 - s3 trail (8 km) with roots, stairs, tight curves, stone slabs, streams, etc. 💥💯🌞 ⚒️View 😎
