Day 1 of my Scotland road trip... slept nearby in the van then drove to Uath Lochans and Inshriach Forest. The car park is free and there's amazing views across the Loch from here. It started off as a misty morning but then the sun came out and I had beautiful blue skies 😍 loved being in the forest and seeing all the autumnal colours.
Short but so beautiful, a little off the beaten track so very few people . Perfect !
About halfway along the western edge of the Cairngorms National Park we stop near Kincraig for a lovely walk around the beautiful Uath Lochans, a series of four small lochs nestled amongst the ancient pine forests of Glen Feshie. There are two walking routes to choose from from the car park. The red loop of just under 6 km or the white loop of 2.5 km. We do the slightly more difficult red walk along the woods of Farleitter Crag and up to the top of the hill for a wonderful view over the four lochans.
