First, from the Green Tree, a leisurely 30-minute walk along the farm track to the Reedsee junction.
Then a steep 2.5-hour climb to the beautiful Reedsee.
Unfortunately, the larches have already lost many of their needles.

A dazzling tour with approximately 800 meters of steep ascent without any flatter recovery phases. The reward is the unique natural surroundings of Lake Reedsee, part of the Hohentauern National Park. The tour pushed us to our physical limits. And our cell phone batteries, too. That's why we're missing the last kilometer of the return trip.
