Today we went to explore Achill Island a bit by bike... At first on the country road I was a little stressed when the cars passed me at high speed... but then we turned off and whoosh... I had the feeling that the island belonged to me... or rather to us🚲🚲 We saw fields of peat... the Irish use it for heating because they have few other raw materials to keep their houses warm... colorful sheep that walked along the streets with me, I was cycling of course... beautiful coasts... a woman let her dogs out of the car... they followed her and rounded up the sheep at the same time... what a beautiful and peaceful country... it is so quiet... I, a damaged city child, am just enjoying it... the peace and quiet🍀 And we drove past a region where a film with Colin Farrell was being shot... and I even saw it in the cinema 🤣

On the second of four stages of this tour through Achill Island on the west coast of Ireland, you will explore more of the coast while riding on remote and slightly hilly roads.
