This route was planned by komoot.
The first three photos were taken this morning at the campsite in a mystical atmosphere. Fog and sun battled each other, and the sun won the battle. Shopping in the pretty town of Peebles. Next on the agenda was putting on our hiking boots along the Tweed River. While the name is inspired by the famous Scottish tartan, this is actually made on Harris, in the Outer Hebrides. We're now in the Lowlands, and the landscape is less dramatic than in the Highlands, but it's still very hilly.
