Panoramic views. South-West to Glenmalure Valley and Lugnaquilla Mountain (highest Mountain in Ireland outside of Kerry). North and North East, in the direction of Glendalough (but not into the valley- but a good spot, coming from/to Glendalough. Easily accessible from the Military Road between Glenmalure and Laragh, for an easy hike.

Mullacor at 657 metres (2,155 ft) is situated in the southern sector of the Wicklow Mountains range, and forms a broad horseshoe around the Upper Lake of the Glendalough valley. Nearby is Lugduff at 652 metres (2,139 ft). Both are Irish Hewitts and marked by small cairns.
