Bird watching and strolling in the Banjerbossie

Don't forget your binoculars, put on clothes that can get dirty and hit the road! The circular walk of just under 4 kilometers starts at the cozy House of Bird. And maybe you guessed it: today's route is indeed all about the bird.

The Bird Route runs through the Diemerbos from the House of Bird. It is no coincidence that you will find the Bird Route here, because the Diemerbos is home to special species of birds such as the oriole and hawfinch. So keep your eyes open while walking and stop regularly to look through your binoculars. At House of Bird you can also get a search map, which makes the walk even more interactive.

After about 2.5 kilometers of bird watching you arrive at the nature playground in Banjerbossie. Compose a piece of music on the natural xylophone, brave the water over a thrilling crossing and test your balance on the course. Both young and old will not get bored in this exciting forest!

You can park your car at the Diemerbos parking lot, at the start of the route. From the Stammerkamp bus stop in Diemen it is a seven-minute walk to this point and from Diemen station it is a 35-minute walk. Of course you can also rent a public transport bicycle there and then cycle to House of Bird within fifteen minutes.
