Brittany as I imagined it. Simply magnificent. Top 10 of the most beautiful hikes to do.
Today was quite cloudy and sometimes rainy. The tour was still great scenically, especially the rocky coast in the first half.
A circular hike along the wild coast of Plougrescant, along a section of the Customs Officers' Path. Hiked at low tide, which makes the coast, with its rock formations, look like a lunar landscape in places. For comparison, https://t.ly/hl5LK shows a variation of the tour with photos taken at high tide—it has something to offer. Beautiful scenery.
Beautiful coastal walk on the GR34 and back through meadows and forest. Recommended!!
A beautiful hike along the coast with pink granite. Unfortunately it was cloudy the whole time so the pink color didn't really show. However, it would have been difficult to walk if the sun had come out as there was hardly any shade on the route. All in all a wonderful walk. As we read that there were no restaurants along the way, we brought food with us
Today we went on foot along the pink granite coast. As you are not allowed to cycle on the coastal path and you cannot see the beautiful views, we put on our hiking boots. It was a very long walk through the country along the road.
Only a few hundred meters from the small town of Plougrescant is the northernmost point of mainland Brittany. The rock formation with breathtaking views is called "Le Gouffre" (the gorge). In the immediate vicinity is one of the most photographed subjects in Brittany, a cottage wedged between two gigantic blocks of granite. With the help of a lawyer, the owner defends herself against photos of her house being published free of charge. Presumably for this reason, there are also two cars in front of the house, which should at least make it difficult to produce photos suitable for publications.
