This walk starts off promising, from a quaint little village and uphill through a cornfield which baby deer crash through with absolutely no regard for modern agricultural practices. After that, it's a bit boring tbh - a lot of it is either head-high nettles / thistles with only horseflies for company or yet more cornfields with the odd electricity pylon thrown in to break up the monotony. BTW - Shardloes Lake ain't all that. I wasn't sorry to finish this walk; which is a shame because I'd had a bugger of a day. Make sure you wear long trousers and sleeves or you gonna get ticked!
