We spontaneously continued along the coast to Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue, located on the peninsula. We wanted to visit La Hauge there, but it's a military reconnaissance station and was closed at the time. We then circumnavigated it over the breakwater, which was quite a challenge given the strong gusts. We survived and were able to enjoy some delicious fish later. 😅 There's also the island of Tatihou, located about a kilometer off the coast and sometimes accessible on foot at low tide. Unfortunately, we were short on time, and it was cold. It was beautiful.
