A short and easy circular route that takes you to the idyllic Bühlhauweiher pond and back, giving you a good insight into the Swabian Forest Nature Park. The path is completely barrier-free and can be used with wheelchairs, prams or walking aids.
From Backnang, the Althütte Rathaus stop can be reached with bus lines 382 and 384. There you start your hike. After you have left the village of Althütte, you follow the Bühlhauweg in a wide arc through a beautiful wooded area. This will bring you to a small street. If you feel hungry or thirsty, you can make a detour to the right to the Birkenhof restaurant. Turn left to the Bühlhauweiher, a biotope worth seeing with an impressive variety of species. There is a small romantic rest area there.
The way back takes you on the footpath and cycle path along the country road back to Althütte.
