Hike from Pradel to Refuge Pedrotti

With this tour, a classic Trentino summer excursion awaits you. Destination: Rifugio Pedrotti — one of the largest accommodation facilities in the Brenta. It is a medium / high intensity trip but one that gives much more than it takes away! The total route is about 19 kilometers with a total difference in altitude of 1,220 meters therefore, if you prefer to split this trip over two days, it is advisable to book to stay at the refuge.

Starting from Pradel, the route begins with a slight slope that immediately offers extraordinary views up to the Croz dell'Altissimo refuge (1,480 m). From here begins the ''real'' climb. After Rifugio Selvata there are some points that are a bit exposed; continuing along path 319 you will pass the Baita Massodi, the Tosa refuge and then arrive at the Pedrotti refuge. If you have excess energy, it is worth continuing for another 15 minutes to the Bocca di Brenta, from here you will have a glimpse of Val Rendena and Presanella.

You can reach Pradel with the panoramic cable car which leaves from the upper part of Molveno, where you will find a paid car park adjacent to the ski lift. Along the route there are various points to stock up on water and/or food (during the summer season). However, I recommend that you bring water and energy bars.
