This route was planned by komoot.
The short trail starts directly by the sea at a staircase below the beach promenade. The run leads uphill, initially moderately through a built-up area, later somewhat steeply along an unpaved trail to the crater of the almost 200 m high Montaña Roja, a small volcano on the Atlantic coast. With magnificent views of the surrounding area, you can walk around the crater rim as many times as you like. There is also a path through the middle of the caldera. Once you've completed enough laps, you can walk back down the same path to the Atlantic Ocean.
