The modern bascule bridge connects Sobieszewo with the mainland and has replaced the former pontoon bridge since 2018. With its clean lines and 173-meter-long construction, it is now Poland's largest drawbridge. From above, a wide view opens up over the Dead Vistula and the flat landscape of the Sobieszewo Island – a short but rewarding viewpoint along any route. Bridge openings are announced acoustically; waiting times may occur in summer.
