August 28, 2024,#2 Kenzenhütte – Auffahrt zur Kenzehütte Runde von Schwangau

At up to 19° and 🌤️⛅️🌧️🌤️ weather, we went from Schwangau up to Kenzenhütte.

The ascent from Buching to Kenzenhütte is partly challenging, but the landscape and the views are rewarding.
Water accompanies you for a large part of the way, especially beautiful is the path along the Halblech with some water inlets.

Great tour to the Kenzenhütte. Unfortunately it was raining. But the food at the hut made up for it. That was the best Kaiserschmarren I've ever eaten. Highly recommended!!!

The only tricky point: at the Bockstallsee you have to carry your bikes up a few steps

Through the Halblech valley and Lobentalbach, on to the Wankerflecke + the Buchenberg. A somewhat strenuous but beautiful bike tour. The last ascent to the Buchenberg in particular was a challenge, but it was rewarded with a delicious Kaiserschmarrn.
