Since thunderstorms and rain were forecast for this afternoon, we got on our bikes in the morning and tried the Rennstieg crossing that was recommended to us. The ascent from Sack was doable with the e-bikes and the descent to Grafelde on a paved dirt road was great. Thanks for the tip @Stefan and @Radel-Rollo 👍
