Where Is The Water Sculpture Group

Highlight • Monument

The three statues look out over the river and the ferry to Brakel.
The sculptures were commissioned by the polder district of Tieler- en Culemborgerwaarden by visual artist Hans van Eerd. This is in memory of the extensive 32 km dike improvement project that was carried out after the high water evacuation of 1995. A design by the Jenaplan school in Gorinchem was the starting point for this group of sculptures.
