The Curator Cafe Totnes

Highlight • Cafe

The Curator Cafe is a great artisan coffee shop in Totnes. They roast and sell coffee beans (or ground) as well as great mugs of coffee, cake, and light meals. Some outside seating and plenty of inside seating. Very friendly.

River Dart Path

Highlight (Segment) • Viewpoint

The River Dart path is a scenic traffic-free section linking Totnes with Dartington. The river trail runs past Queen’s Marsh and Bidwell Brook on the Dartington Hall Estate.

You'll find bird hides and benches along the way and the Cider Press Centre at the end in Dartington. It's a great place to stop with a shop, gallery and locally sourced food from the cafe called Bayards Kitchen.

Church House Inn Rattery

Highlight • Pub

This Inn is located in the heart of Rattery, a small village close to the A38 and Dartmoor. Supposedly the name 'Church House Inn' goes all the way back to the 1400s when all non-religious activity related to the church was removed from the actual church building.

Lydia Bridge Waterfall

Highlight • Bridge

Lydia Bridge is a stone packhorse bridge dating back to the 17th or 18th century and remains a Grade II listed structure. Standing on it, you’ll find a waterfall immediately north, running over mossy boulders and generally looking quaint and lovely.
