Gamskopf Summit (1,890 m)

Highlight • Summit

Gamskopf can be easily reached on the winter hiking trail without snowshoes. Only the last part is steep. We were well on our way with snowshoes. Great view of Hopfensee and Weißensee and the mountains of the Tannheimer Tal.

The Gräner Höhenweg is also called the Tannheimer Höhenweg. I'm not even sure what the difference is. A very nice, not too strenuous mountain trail. If you walk from the …

The Aggenstein is a beautiful mountain between Pfronten in the Allgäu and the Tannheimer Tal. Unfortunately, it is very often overcrowded.

Beautiful dream tour with Mäff (not the drug, that's the name of the other person😜)
If you want, you could also cover most of the altitude by taking the train to the Füssener Jöchle.
I really have to say, Mäff hardly complained or moaned, I'd be happy to do it again😊👍👍👍
Next time maybe with hiking boots😜
And in the …

I decided at short notice to do the tour up the Aggenstein. When I arrived at the Grän/Enge car park at 7 a.m., there was already a lot to do. On the ascent to the Bad Kissinger Hütte, however, I met a few people who were on the way back. Hope sprang up. After a short breather at the Bad …

Today we ended up in the Tannheimer Valley, finally "real" mountains again!
We park the car in the parking lot at Lumberg in Grän. It costs a bit, but everything is within reason.

We have wonderful blue skies and the sun is already shining beautifully in the sky.
Right at the beginning we have a view of the Aggenstein and …

FINALLY I made it!!
The Aggenstein is MINE! 🤘🏼🥳😎😄
Anyone who knows me a little knows that I've already started the mountain (felt ☝🏼!) 287 times (or something like that 🤪), but there was always something!
Bad weather, fellow hikers not suitable, circulation, bad moon position, rocket launched into space, a rice sack in China fell over etc.. 🤣
Finally …

Since I was still feeling the cold, we took the cable car up to the Füssener Jöchle. From there, we hiked to the Bad Kissinger Hütte, Aggenstein, and down. Magnificent views, although we skipped the Aggenstein after the rope safety. It was like a highway, and people were reckless. I don't need that. All in all, though, a very nice …

Fantastic weather today.
Chamois without end. Craziness. There are still snow fields. But also fits without Grödel. Then stop at the Bad Kissinger Hütte. There were still a few spots left here. All in the south?

Showing Translation

Today, we climbed the Füssener Jöchle in glorious weather. Unfortunately, there were no chamois to be seen. There were probably too many noisy tourists around. The ridge trail to the hut didn't get any quieter either.

The sun was shining, the birds were chirping.

The clouds drifting through the Füssener Jöchle were cool. Always an enchanting and phenomenal sight.
