From the Semmering valley station you go over the Archduke Johann Steig (challenging) up to the Hirschenkogel with the observation tower for a leisurely descent, it is best to choose the route along the family slopes. Attention, many because of the downhill riders are not accessible, but these 2 are;)

Finally escaped the perpetual fog and soaked up the sun. From the Semmering Pass – cable car ride up to the Hirschenkogel – Millennium observation tower – hike along the forest road back to the pass.
