It is a small town with a lot of charm, with an old castle, cobbled streets, located on a mountain top which gives it very good views of the surrounding mountains (Montserrat, La Mola, Montseny) and the distant peaks of the eastern Pyrenees.

The Sala de Sant Llogari

Highlight • Historical Site

The Sala de Sant Llogari is an old fortified farmhouse dating back to the 17th century. The complex includes the main house, now in ruins, and the small Romanesque church of Sant Llogari, of medieval origin.

It is a charming place, surrounded by nature and linked to old rural paths and the Sant Joan stream. Although it is not open to the public, it is an interesting spot to stop if you are exploring the area on foot and enjoy discovering places steeped in history.

Castellterçol

Highlight • Settlement

Castellterçol is a municipality in Catalonia, Spain. It is located in the province of Barcelona, in the Moyanés region. Until 2015 it belonged to Vallés Oriental. Its judicial party is Granollers.

The population was traditionally dedicated to the trade of weaving, activities that have recently become textile companies. At the end of the 18th century, the wool industry was very important, with more activity than Sabadell and Tarrasa. Today the textile industry is important with the manufacture of polyester and cotton fabrics and dyes for the cotton industry, which employ a good number of workers. Agriculture (cereals, potatoes, legumes, fodder,...) and livestock (cattle, sheep and pigs) are also very important. The latter gives rise to the manufacture of typical sausages (blood pudding, sausages...)

As important places we can highlight the Prat de la Riba museum, which was the house of Enric Prat de la Riba and the castle of Castellterçol.
