An idyllic jetty at the mouth of the Gronach and the Jagst. You have to decide whether to walk over the footbridge and continue on the E8, or along the Gronach to the hammer mill. Both are recommended.

August 24, 2024,55/24 - Von Kirchberg a. d. Jagst durchs Gronach- und Jagsttal 🌞 😅 🥵
Today we were moving in unknown terrain 😄, as we were invited somewhere nearby, we wanted to explore the area with a hike beforehand.
It's not a particularly highlight tour, the paths are all there, but there are a lot of nature trails, sometimes with obstacle courses 😅, for which you should, in my opinion, be sure-footed and not afraid …

Here I would recommend long trousers and closed shoes with a good profile.
The tour is fun though, it's a bit like a tour through a jungle.

Wild animals were also around 😉🐕🐕‍🦺🦮

From km 13 to 13.7km it is very dangerous, many tree trunks have fallen over and there is a risk of falling at the moment because of the mud!
Very, very difficult - only possible with poles and good shoes.
Otherwise the hike is a dream!!!!!

Hello everyone 😀
Yes today we went to the Jagsttal, the beginning went great through the gorge, but a little later along the Jagst caught a trail that was really tough, nothing was cleared here, lots of trees blocked the path, it was not possible to walk around there you have to walk along a slope here, so there is …

Hiked in beautiful autumn weather from Kirchstein via the Hammerschmiede and back in the Jagsttal. Some sections we chose were quite adventurous. Especially on the way back along the Jagst embankment, the combination of foliage, loamy soil and the sloping path was very demanding and you had to be very careful with every step. In the end, darkness caught up …

Showing Translation

This hike is not recommended in wet conditions. Very slippery and there are trees everywhere on the path.

Showing Translation

The route is very adventurous. 1 km of it is “only for the experienced”.
I don't know who counts as experienced. But it was indescribable. I'm proud of us for doing it.

Showing Translation

A nice hike along the Jagst. But please do not hike through the passage in the forest shortly before Boelgental. There is no way there and the embankment is very steep and dangerous. Better to go up along the edge of the forest.
