Wolfsdelle Hollow Way

Highlight (Segment) • Gorge

A really nice ravine. Also has something mysterious about it. Not quite as impressive as the ravine on the RheinBurgenWeg from Bassenheim to Winningen, but not to be despised either.
Reached via the dream path Wolfsdelle.

October 25, 2022,Rhein 🏞 - Traumpfad "Wolfsdelle"
The days are getting shorter and so are the 🥾🥾 tours. Fortunately, there are dream paths where brevity is the spice. 🤩
The "Wolfsdelle" circular tour begins in the attractive center of Rhens am Rhein. A detour to the Königsstuhl is an absolute must. In the Middle Ages, the electors met here to elect the German king. 🤴

Today I hiked the Wolfsdelle dream trail with a lovely colleague. A really beautiful tour with lots of mud (no matter!), tough climbs, great picnic opportunities and excellent views! Really beautiful! 🤗

A beautiful circular hike with plenty of benches to sit and relax on, and great views of the Rhine and the fields. Only two short but steep climbs. The starting point is easily accessible by bus and train.

Today, with @Manggongjai, we went from the car park at the Rhenser Königsstuhl to the Wolfsdelle dream path, named after a deeply cut ravine.

First, we went up the Schamberg and over the serpentine path to the Lützelforst, then via Philppsberg and Halbtritz to the Rheintalblick refuge.

Again a very beautiful dream path, neatly uphill with many benches and shelters, plus wonderful views.

I met up with Bettina and @Volker Bless in Rhens for this dream hike. The weather couldn't have been better and the tour itself is very varied. However, we recommend changing the direction of your walk. Then the views over the Rhine are the highlight at the end.
I've added 2 more photos from Rhens, but the dream path doesn't …

Today @Hunsbuckel 🇺🇦 and I started in Rhems am Rhein to run the dream path Wolfdelle, which, depending on the direction you run, can offer a few tough but not too long climbs.

On historical traces to the legendary Königsstuhl. A wonderful circular route with spectacular views of the Rhine Valley, the Marksburg Castle and the heights of the Hunsrück and Taunus.
