The Lamarosa region lends itself to cycling as there are good roads with little traffic.

Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Castle of Coruche

On the hill overlooking the town, where a castle once stood and was the scene of frequent skirmishes between Muslims and Christians during the Reconquista, stands the Chapel of Our Lady of the Castle.
