Scenic Country Lane and Pine Forest Path

Highlight (Segment) • Forest

Path with a beautiful avenue, with a view over the country, an acacia, buzzing with insects and a pine forest that smells of Brandenburg

Götzer Berg Observation Tower

Highlight • Viewpoint

Atop the 108-meter-high Götzer "Berg" stands the 44-meter-high tower, built in 2012, with a 26-meter-high observation deck. The structure is made of a delicate steel rod structure. The supporting staircase is located in the center. In keeping with earlier towers on this site, which were still made entirely of wood, the side guy elements were clad in wood.

The Havel Cycle Path runs directly at the foot of Götzer Berg, and the paths to the tower are signposted from various directions. The approach is somewhat arduous, but you are rewarded with breathtaking views.

A top highlight and a definite recommendation from me.

Deetzer Pits

Highlight • Lake

From 1850 to 1950, the "Deetzer Erdlöcher" in the Havel valley supplied the raw material for bricks that had been shipped across the Havel to Berlin for a hundred years as clay pits.

In relation to the Deezer earth holes, a lorry can be viewed not far from the "Havelstübchen", just as it was used to transport the clay to the brickworks.

This is a good example for other village communities. Oven as a sensible meeting point.
