Enjoyed the beautiful fall weather today.
Start was at the church in Herold - easy parking. Past the lime works it went through forests and over fields to Thum. There is a small animal enclosure at the town hall. Finally, via the bastion back to the parking lot. That not only sounds like Saxon Switzerland, it also feels like it.

This nice tour in the Ore Mountains leads from Thum to Herold and back again as a large arc, via easy-to-treat paths that are partly rustic. A stop is possible in the Ratskeller Thum. It was delicious. A trip to the zoo is also recommended.
