Sunny hike with the family around Flossenbürg on Ash Wednesday. We looked at the concentration camp memorial towns and then hiked towards the Czech Republic. After visiting a former bunker building and the Bread Rock, there were wonderful views from the Schellenberg ruins and the Havran observation tower. At the border you could also see fences from the Iron Curtain. …
