Highlight (Segment) • Trail

A very exciting path for which you need to have a good sense of running. Many people still walk here with strollers, even though you have to climb quite a bit in places. But you are rewarded with great views.

Nice challenging walk with beautiful highlights! A good tip: don't park your car in 1 of the 4 parking spaces in front of the bridge because the first 4 hours are 10 euros and then an additional euro every 15 minutes! I lost 17 euros... better to park somewhere else along the route and start from there

After two days of constant rain, we took advantage of the better weather today and went to the Geierlay suspension rope bridge, and later in the forest also took a few via ferratas with us.

Today's station wagon was a very nice round, it mainly ran through quaint, romantic stream valleys. The damp ground made it very muddy and slippery in places. The highlights were the via ferrata passages and the Geierlay suspension rope bridge, both of which are manageable. It felt like it was just uphill all day 😅.

Höhlenslucht- Schinnkaul- and Burgberg klettersteig 1 hike! Super cool!!!
It was so much fun to enjoy nature, spotted a lot of wildlife!! Very cool to see the chamois on the mountain.
It was old-fashioned work again, sometimes on all fours but above, jumping over streams, rising and falling, quite a few altimeters and especially the steep parts with unstable ground. …

Thank you @Edith for the tip about the car park - we have now started from car park P4, which is available to visitors free of charge 🤓🤓

The round is fantastically beautiful and I can only recommend it to everyone 😍😍
